Health is a great blessing of God. Both physical and mental wellness is termed as health. It is important to maintain your health in order to live a happy and healthy life. Here are 5 tips by which you can maintain a healthy body and live a healthy life.



5 tips to maintain a healthy body
1 .   Balanced Diet


A well-balanced diet us the diet in which all nutrients are available inadequacy and moderation. It contains food from all food groups i.e. carbs (Rice, Chapatti), protein (meat, fish), vitamins and minerals (fruits and vegetables), fat/oil, and milk products. In order to live a healthy life a person should include every kind of food but in moderation.

·        Try to devour all the more new foods grown from the ground.


·        Eat organic foods.

·        Avoid processed or junk foods.

·        Eat in moderation. Do not eat too much.

·        Avoid sleeping after taking the meal.

·        Drink water before the consumption of food.

·        Limit alcohol or tobacco intake.

·        Quit smoking.



Fruits and Vegetables


They are imp to perform vital functions in our body. They provide us vitamins and minerals. Anti-oxidants and phytochemicals are also present in fruits and vegetables, which protect from cancer.

Some fruits e.g. apple, orange, and papaya have immune-boosting properties that enhance your immune system.


Protein


Protein is important for growth, development, and maintenance of body structures and tissues. In severe protein deficiency muscle wasting occurs. So, an adequate amount of protein is necessary to maintain a healthy body.

Protein-rich sources are lean meat, fish, red meat, pulses and nuts etc.



Fat/Oil


Avoid the use of saturated fat. Approximately2 to 3 tablespoon of fat/oil can be consumed daily. If you are overweight and want to lose weight then minimize the use of fat.



Milk products


Milk contains very important nutrients that are essential to keep our bodies healthy. Milk contains calcium. Calcium is imp for the development of teeth strengthening and maintenance of bones. So if you want to live a life free of joint pain, osteoporosis you must consume 2 glasses of milk per day.



2.Drink plenty of water


Water is important for many metabolic and cellular activities in our body. In order to live a healthy life, 8-10 glasses of water should be consumed daily. Water is important even if you want to lose weight or If you want to improve your skin color.



3. Regular exercise


Our body is like a machine. If the machine is not used for a long time it becomes rusted. So, to keep your body in functioning state exercise is very important. Average 60- 90 minutes walk is the best to exercise.



4. Proper sleep


Proper sleep is necessary to maintain a healthy body. If you do not get proper sleep your body metabolic functioning will become disturbed. When sleep is inappropriate then headache or joint pain occurs. You will feel fatigued and tired. You cannot pay attention to anything. So in order to maintain the health, you must take 8 hours' sleep.



5. Enjoy your life.


Enjoy your life as life is full of colors. Try to add colors to your life. Do not be panic in stress conditions. Try to manage that stress with planning. Stress can adversely affect your body. It changes your hormonal level. Stress can cause high blood pressure which is a silent killer. Stress can also damage kidneys. Yoga is the best way to avoid stress.
